Uploading YouTube Videos

To participate in the Summer Festival, students are required to provide video recordings of recent performances so we can place them into the appropriate solo and ensemble master classes. Students shall provide YouTube links of two solo piano works. Memorization of the recorded pieces is encouraged but not required. Smartphone or tablet uploads are acceptable.

Here are instructions for uploading a video to YouTube:

• If you do not already have a Google account, please visit their website and register for a free account.

• Log into YouTube with your Google account.

• In the top right-hand corner of YouTube home page, click the Create button and then choose Upload video.

• Select the file from your computer to upload.

• Of the three video privacy settings, choose if you desire the video to be Public or Unlisted. (Do not choose Private.)

• Upon uploading the videos, copy the link for each video and paste it into the Video Submission text box on the registration form, separated with a comma (“,”).
