Our COntribution to the community
API provides immersive experiences for young pianists that inspire, add layers of understanding, and bring them together into a community of like-minded musicians. These pianists, coming out of experiences like the Summer Festival, are more confident and engaged with their music making. And as they move on, they continue to promote quality music and culture within their communities.
The piano is a core component of musical life, and API’s programs help grow and foster the art of piano performance. Our festivals provide an opportunity for world renowned piano pedagogues to work with new generations of pianists and pass on insights learned from a lifetime of performance and teaching. The students come to our festivals already committed to the piano. Transitioning beyond API, they continue to pursue their craft as dedicated musicians.
Our programs are inclusive by design to encourage diversity, and to promote a focus on the love of music and individual excellence. API engages other musical organizations and schools to ensure that our efforts are coordinated and supported by other musical endeavors in the state. All these efforts serve as a foundation for growing a healthy musical culture within our community and Arizona.
Like many nonprofit organizations, API relies on more than registration fees to fund our events. Any help we have from you is most appreciated. API is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Volunteer your services –
