The Gold Canyon Arts Council, in cooperation with the Arizona Piano Institute, is bringing the renowned Irish pianist, John O’Conor to Phoenix for a series of marvelous musical events. John O’Conor has earned a reputation as a masterful interpreter of the Classic and Early Romantic piano repertoires. He has been praised for his formidable technique, mastery of keyboard color and in particular his unique sound. He has been called a true ‘Poet of the Piano.’

LECTURE RECITAL and MASTERCLASS

The lecture recital and the masterclass are a collaboration between the Arizona Piano Institute and Gold Canyon Arts Council. This event provides an opportunity for teachers and students of piano in the Phoenix metro area to gather insights on style, technique, and history from one of the most acclaimed pianists of our time.
