API Summer Festival 2024
June 2–8, 2024
Phoenix College
The annual API Summer Festival offers aspiring young piano students an opportunity to practice with and learn from renowned piano teachers. Every year in early June, participants will engage in a week of master classes, workshops, and recitals in solo and ensemble piano performances.
In 2024, the Summer Festival will be held on the campus of Phoenix College. The theme of this year’s Summer Festival is “The Art of Listening”.
Sorry kids, all spots at the 2024 Summer Festival are currently booked. However, you can still register as a student and be placed on the waitlist. Should any spots open up due to cancellations, you may still be able to participate (we will announce open spots here).
Also, don’t forget our options to attend as an auditor or volunteer. These are great ways to enjoy all the festival has to offer and help us make this year’s event a success! And if you are a piano teacher, please join our unique Teacher Forum, where we explore creative approaches to piano pedagogy.
Read all about our festival and how to register as a student, auditor, or volunteer on the Summer Festival 2024 homepage.

API is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in the state of Arizona.
The Arizona Piano Institute fosters enriching solo and collaborative experiences for young musicians and educators in Arizona through various piano-focused musical experiences with renowned performing artists and pedagogues.
Towards that end API produces events that offer opportunities and encouragement for young musicians to perform, learn new approaches to improve their craft, to inspire their love of music, and to network with other like-minded young musicians. API partners with other key organizations in Arizona with similar missions to collaborate in building a richer musical experience for Arizona’s youth. In addition, we offer scholarships for young musicians with talent but without the financial means to participate in events that will further their musical capabilities.
