The Arizona Piano Institute's Summer Festival 2018 will be held at Central United Methodist Church in Phoenix, Arizona, June 3-9, 2018. Early registration is $375 through February 28, 2018; the regular registration rate from March 1, 2018 will be $450. Fees for more than one student attending per family are $350 for early registration and $425 for regular registration.
Registration will be open until capacity is filled with 36 students. The application includes the registration form (linked below), the Ensemble Repertoire Choices, YouTube video submission, and application fee. Applications are not complete until all items are submitted.

Auditor fees: $30/day or $100 for full week pass, payable at the door or online. Teachers of registered students may audit for free. Volunteers will receive a fee waiver for each day they volunteer. Waivers are good for any day.

1. Upload YouTube videos
The Arizona Piano Institute requires videos of students' recent performances to help with placement into appropriate solo and ensemble master classes. Please provide links to YouTube videos of the student performing TWO pieces of repertoire for solo piano. Memorization is encouraged, but not required; smartphone or tablet uploads are acceptable. The Summer Festival 2018 is designed for students who play at a minimum Arizona Study Program Level 5 (equivalent to the performance of easier Clementi sonatinas).
The following instructions will guide you in uploading a video to YouTube:

A. Go to youtube.com and log in to your account.
B. On the top right hand corner of the home page, click UPLOAD.
C. Select the file from your computer to upload.
D. Of the 3 video privacy settings, choose if you want the video to be PUBLIC or UNLISTED. (Do not choose "Private".)
E. Upon uploading the videos, copy the link for each video and paste it in the Video Submission text box on the registration form.

2. Ensemble Repertoire and Vocal Accompaniment master classes
Upon completed registration, participants will be assigned to either Ensemble Repertoire or Vocal Accompaniment master classes. Please download the .pdf Ensemble Repertoire Choices to find the selections for the Summer Festival 2018. Please choose at least one piece you would be interested in performing if chosen for the Ensemble Repertoire master classes. Those chosen for the Vocal Accompaniment master classes will be assigned repertoire at a later time.
3. Pay registration fee
Early registration through February 28, 2018 is $375. The regular registration rate from March 1 is $450. Discounts are given for more than one person attending per family. Registration is open until all spots are filled. Cancellation Policy: To be eligible for a refund, minus a $50 processing charge, students must withdraw by May 8. Any withdrawals after May 8 will be charged $75 for processing. No refunds are given after May 22. Click to pay your registration fee.
4. Complete registration form
Please click on the REGISTRATION FORM to complete your registration. You will provide all required information, paste your YouTube links, confirm registration payment, and verify the publicity release.
Upon confirmation of registration in the Arizona Piano Institute’s Summer Festival 2018, you will be sent a MEDICAL RELEASE FORM via email that can be returned via email, mail or at registration on the first morning of the festival.
PLEASE NOTE: Participants will NOT be allowed to attend the festival and registration fees will not be refunded if the MEDICAL RELEASE FORM is not submitted by the start of the festival.
